Eight arrested, drugs & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops apprehended eight outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Secretariat police arrested four accused namely Imran, Adnan, Muhammad Asad and Bilal involved in illegally gas filling. The Golra police team arrested an accused namely Aasd involved in possessing illegal weapon and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession.
The Sangjani police team arrested an accused namely Mohsin involved in possessing illegal weapon and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession.
Similarly, the Shams Colony police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Awais involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered a 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession.
The Industrial-Area police team arrested an accused namely Abdul Qadir involved in drug peddling and recovered 1010 gram ice from his possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
