ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 10 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
He said that, following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Kohsar police team arrested an accused namely Lehrasib involved in drug paddling and recovered 2300 gram heroin from his possession. The Koral police team arrested three accused namely Main Khan, Muhammad Aamir Sohail and Gul Khan involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered two rifles and one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from their possession.
Likewise, the Sihala police team arrested an accused namely Ehsan involved in possessing illegal weapon and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. The Noon police team arrested three accused namely Muhammad Ismail, Muzammil and Ahmed Khan involved in illegal gas filling.
During the ongoing crackdown against absconders, the Islamabad Capital Police teams arrested two absconders from various areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
