16 caught, drugs & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 16 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Phulgarn police team arrested four accused namely Noor Bacha, Muhammad Ishfaq, Saqib and Abid Hussain and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition, one dagger, 575 gram heroin and 10 liters alchole from their possession. Sangjani police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Kamran and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Likewise, the Sabzi Mandi police arrested an accused namely Ameer Khan and recovered 167 gram heroin from his possession. Khanna police arrested accused namely Muhammad Zahid and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Lohibher police arrested accused namely Mansoor Shahid and recovered 285 gram heroin from his possession.
During the ongoing crackdown against absconders and proclaimed offenders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested six absconders from various areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
