ISLAMABAD: PS Industrial Area and PS Sabzi Mandi teams have arrested three wanted members of two criminal gangs involved in numerous criminal activities and recovered mobile phone, cash and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir khan, the Islamabad Capital Police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directions, the Industrial Area police teams used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a dacoit gang involved in numerous robbery activities. The accused were identified as Bait Ullah and Salman. Police team also recovered weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Likewise, the Sabzi Mandi police teams used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a criminal gang involved in numerous snatching activities. The accused was identified as Khan. Police team also recovered the snatched mobile phone, cash and weapon with ammunition from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous criminal activities in various areas of the city.
