ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police Sumbal police team arrested two wanted members of a former jailbird snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered cash, mobile phones, weapons with ammunition, dagger and motorbike used in crime from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Sumbal police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a former jailbird snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities in various areas of the Sumbal police station jurisdiction. The accused were identified as Mehboob Ur Rehman and MunsafAllam.
Police team also recovered snatched cash, mobile phone, weapons with ammunition, dagger and motorbike used in crime from their possession.
Cases were registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
