ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan Reza Amiri-Moghadam, visited the Central Police Office Islamabad along with a delegation and met with Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan.
Iran embassy delegation discussed various security issues with ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan and was briefed about the measures taken by the Islamabad capital police to maintain foolproof security.
The delegation discussed the importance of mutual training and the promotion of bilateral visits to further improve the police force of the two countries.
The delegation appreciated the Islamabad Capital Police for maintaining law and order in the federal capital and dealing with the agitating gatherings in the best strategy and peaceful manner.
The Iranian Ambassador along with his team visited Safe City Islamabad where they were briefed about various sections of Safe City, Command and Control centre, Emergency control centre, dispatch control centre and “Pukar-15” helpline.
ICCPO Dr Akbar Nasir said that the safety of foreign dignitaries and delegations in the federal capital is one of the top priorities of Islamabad capital police and every possible measure will be taken in this regard. At the end ICCPO also presented a police shield to the Iranian Ambassador.
