PM asserts no relief, only punishment for millitants

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar on Tuesday asserted his commitment to the relentless pursuit of eradicating terrorism from the country. “We will fight back till the menace of terrorism is eliminated from our motherland,” he said using the social media platform X to convey his resolute stance. The prime minister took a moment to acknowledge the commendable efforts of the security forces in successfully executing operations in Darazanda, Daraban, and Kolachi areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district.
These operations resulted in the martyrdom of at least 23 soldiers and elimination of 27 terrorists.
PM Kakar paid tribute to the valiant security forces, describing their dedication, sacrifice, and valour in the face of terror as unparalleled, serving as a beacon of hope for the nation.
Expressing his deepest sympathies, PM Kakar conveyed condolences to the families of the martyrs, recognising the sacrifices made in the pursuit of national security.
He reiterated the government’s steadfast commitment to eliminating terrorism and extremism from the country.
Undeterred by such acts of violence, the prime minister emphasised that the resolve of the security forces to combat terrorism remains unwavering.
In the wake of the terrorist attack in DI Khan, PM Kakar directed the provision of the best medical treatment to the injured, emphasising the government’s dedication to caring for those affected by such incidents.
The statement highlights the government’s determination to address the ongoing threat of terrorism, giving due recognition to the efforts of security forces while conveying condolences to the bereaved families. –Agencies
