—– Stolen motorbikes, drugs & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 17 outlaws from different areas of the city during the last 24 hours and recovered three stolen motorbikes, drugs and weapons from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Secretariat police team arrested two accused namely Abdul Wahid and Muhammad Akhlaq involved in bike lifting activities and recovered three stolen motorbikes from their possession. The Aabpara police team arrested an accused namely James Jozaf and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Margalla police team arrested an accused namely Hamaoun Khan and recovered 20 liters of alcohol from his possession.
Similarly, the Sangjani police team arrested an accused namely Yousaf Khan involved in illegal selling of petrol. The Noon police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Ijaz and recovered 145 gram heroin from his possession.
Furthermore, the Lohi Bher police team arrested an accused namely Faraz Muhammad and recovered 132 gram heroin from his possession, while the police team also arrested an accused namely Israr Ud Din involved in illegally selling petrol. The Phulgran police team arrested an accused namely Ghulam Jaffar and recovered five liters of alcohol from his possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the ongoing crackdown against absconders and proclaimed offenders the Islamabad Capital Police have arrested seven absconders and proclaimed offenders involved in heinous crimes.
