ISLAMABAD: PS Kohsar arrested five wanted members of a snatcher gang known as boxer gang involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered weapons and automatic dagger used in crime from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Kohsar police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending five wanted members of a snatcher gang known as boxer gang involved in numerous snatching activities in various areas of the Kohsar police station jurisdiction. The accused were identified as Nabeel Ahmed, Noman, Shahzaib, Suhbat Azam and Muhammad Abid.
Police team also recovered four 30 bore pistols and one automatic dagger used in crime from their possession. Cases were registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
