ISLAMABAD: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a joint search and combing operation in the jurisdiction of Margalla police station.
Following the special directives of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, search and combing operations are being conducted in different areas of the city, to ensure the safety and security of the Islamabad citizens.
Following these orders, a joint search and combing operation was conducted in the jurisdiction Margalla Police Station areas by CTD, Pakistan Navy and quick response teams. During the search operation 85 houses, 229 suspects, 35 motorcycles and 03 vehicles were checked.
The purpose of the search and combing operations was to heighten the security in the Federal capital. All divisional police officers were directed to continue these operations in their respective areas. Citizens are also requested to cooperate with police during checking.
