China sees earliest ‘flood No 1’ since 1998

GUANGZHOU: The Water Resources Department of South China’s Guangdong province announced the No 1 flood of the year in its Beijiang River on Sunday, the earliest since floods in major Chinese rivers began being numbered in 1998.
