Two killed in Waziristan clash

RAWALPINDI: Two terrorists were killed in a fire exchange that took place between the security forces and terrorists in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district on night between April 6 and 7, the military said on Sunday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location as a result of which “two terrorists were sent to hell”. Weapons and explosives were also recovered from them, it added.
“Sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the military’s media wing concluded. –Agencies
