ISLAMABAD: PS Bani Gala and PS Sihala teams arrested three wanted members of a car lifter and snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching and vehicle theft activities and recovered a stolen car and weapons used in crime from their possession.
Following the special directions of DIG Operations Islamabad Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Sihala police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities. The accused were identified as Muhammad Riaz and Ali Raza. Police team also recovered weapons used in crime from their possession.
Similarly, the Bani Gala police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a car thief gang involved in car theft activities. The accused was identified as Gulfam.
Police team also recovered a stolen car from his possession. Cases were registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
