PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said on Wednesday the Punjab police needed reforms, and the problems could not be solved just by donning police uniforms.
Ali Amin Gandapur, while speaking to Dunya News, said, “If I pinpoint something, everyone starts criticising me. Everyone knows what’s economic and employment situation when the PTI government was in power and how the PDM performed in its previous and present regime?”
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister said mere lip service would not work. Similarly, making TikTok videos could not help resolve the masses’ issues. The Punjab police remained instrumental in the worst poll rigging during the general election, he said while reiterating the need to to reform them. Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur vowed on Wednesday to empower the workers in line with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder’s vision. Expressing his thoughts in line with International Labour Day, CM Gandapur said: “It is the topmost priority of our government to address the problems of the workers. –Agencies
