Ijaz hits back at Qamar

Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actor Nauman Ijaz has subtly responded to Khalilur Rehman Qamar’s recent controversial remarks.
In an interview with a private TV channel, Qamar had harshly criticised Ijaz, stating, “Nauman Ijaz is a despicable man. He is the only person I hate in the world; I am angry with others, but I do not hate them.”
Following Qamar’s statement, Ijaz’s fans took to social media to criticise the writer for using inappropriate language about a talented and senior actor. They argued that Qamar’s words revealed more about his own personality.
In response, Nauman Ijaz posted a thoughtful message on his official Instagram handle.
Alongside a photo of himself deep in conversation, he wrote, “Seeds always grow silently, but trees fall with a lot of noise. This means there is noise in destruction while creation happens quietly.”
Ijaz added, “There is great power in silence, so move forward quietly. May Allah keep you all happy.”
“This is the power of silence. So grow silently.”
His fans have deemed this as an indirect response to Khalil-ur-Rehman’s remarks. One follower commented: “The art of ignoring Khalil-ur-Rehman’s statement!!”
Another said: “More power to you.”
However, in a resurfaced interview, Nauman openly labelled Khalil as a mentally sick person, expressing his disapproval of the writer’s behaviour towards him.
