Two snatchers busted, cash, arms & valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Anti-Robbery and Dacoity Unit (ARDU) police team arrested two wanted members of a criminal gang involved in looting citizens and snatching activities and recovered cash, mobile phones and weapons from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified the crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime in the city.
Following these directions, the ARDU police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a snatcher gang who were involved in several incidents of looting citizens at gunpoint.
The accused were identified as Salman Khan and Ejaz Ullah. The police team also recovered cash, mobile phones and weapons from their possession. Case was registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
