IGP reviews security measures, recruitment process

ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, chaired an important meeting regarding the security of the federal capital and new recruitment in Islamabad Police.
The meetings were attended by DIG Security Muhammad Jawad Tariq, AIG Establishment Abdul Haque Umrani, AIG Special Branch Yasir Afridi, SSP CTD Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, and the Law Officer. During the meeting, IG Islamabad reviewed the overall security situation in the federal capital. He issued orders to police officers to ensure the law and order situation in the federal capital, as well as to ensure effective security arrangements for the upcoming processions and gatherings related to Muharram. IGP Islamabad also reviewed the ongoing recruitment process in the Islamabad Police. He emphasized the importance of monitoring and ensuring transparency in the recruitment process, and said that educated young individuals driven by the spirit of service should be included in the police force.
Moreover, important decisions were made regarding the management and administration of all recruitment centers, and senior police officers were assigned key responsibilities.
