ISLAMABAD: Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police officers are performing their duties in the field regarding cautious driving and road safety during the rains in the federal capital.
The series of intermittent rains continues in Islamabad. Despite the rain and harsh weather, police officers give awareness to citizens about road safety and cautious driving during construction work at various locations in the city and provide every possible assistance to ensure the best travel facilities.
Citizens praised this initiative of Islamabad Police, stating that Islamabad Police plays a key role in preventing traffic accidents and maintaining an integrated traffic system in the city.
Citizens are urged to follow traffic laws and ensure the safety of their own and others’ lives by driving cautiously during the rains.
Moreover, citizens should avoid unnecessary travel during the rains, and if travel is unavoidable, they should take precautionary measures and follow traffic laws, especially maintaining lane discipline and adhering to the instructions of the traffic police officers present on site.
