ISLAMABAD: A meeting was held between Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa and Ambassador of Denmark to Pakistan Jakob Linulf on Thursday to discuss various projects aimed at making Islamabad a modern city.
Chairman Randhawa highlighted the launch of new projects and initiatives taken to make CDA a dynamic institution.
He emphasized the efforts to transform Islamabad into a model city, with a focus on environmental sustainability.
Ambassador Linulf commended the environment-friendly initiatives undertaken by Chairman Randhawa, particularly the Climate Change Fund and Margalla Hills Fund.
He expressed his support for these initiatives, stating that they will play a crucial role in protecting Islamabad’s natural environment.
The meeting also touched upon solid waste management, with Chairman Randhawa expressing interest in utilizing Denmark’s expertise in this area.
Furthermore, Chairman Randhawa extended an invitation to Ambassador Linulf to participate in the Margalla Hills plantation drive, which the ambassador gladly accepted.
The drive is expected to receive overwhelming participation.
