Chinese delegation keen to invest in dev’t projects

ISLAMABAD: A Chinese delegation in a meeting with Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Thursday expressed their keen interest to invest in development projects of Islamabad.
The meeting focused on exploring avenues for collaboration and investment in key sectors.
During the briefing, the delegation expressed desire to invest in the project of transferring CDA offices and streetlights to solar energy.
This initiative aligns with country’s goal of promoting renewable energy sources and reducing carbon emissions.
Muhammad Ali Randhawa welcomed global investors, particularly from China, to invest in Islamabad’s development projects.
He assured the delegation that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) would extend full support to facilitate investments.
The meeting also discussed other upcoming projects of CDA, including the Silicon Valley and Four Tier Data projects for IT.
The delegation was briefed on the details of these projects, highlighting their potential for growth and investment.
Following the meeting, Muhammad Ali Randhawa announced that work on the feasibility plan for the discussed projects would commence soon.
He appreciated China’s initiative to invest in various projects in Pakistan, further strengthening the bond between the two countries.
