ISLAMABAD: PS Shahzad Town and Homicide Unit arrested an accused involved in a murder case.
According to details, on August 05, 2024, the Shahzad Town police station received an application from a citizen who stated that he is a resident of Jhang Syedan Islamabad and that accused Farhad killed my Daughter namely Safena bibi through gunfire.
Upon receiving the application, the Shahzad Town Police team registered an FIR no. 962/24. Following this incident, DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza directed the officials to ensure the arrest of the accused involved in it. A special investigation team was constituted.
The police teams utilized all available resources and used technical and scientific methods to arrest the accused, namely Farhad. During the preliminary investigation, the arrested accused confessed the killing, while further investigation is underway.
