PTI readies to bring Murad Saeed to public eye

PESHAWAR: Preparations are being made to bring Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Murad Saeed into the public eye.
According to family sources, he would appear at a suitable time as soon as legal protections were secured.
In the initial phase, details of the cases registered against Murad Saeed across the country have been obtained.
Family sources indicated that these details were acquired through the Peshawar High Court, following a petition filed by Saeed’s father.
Relevant authorities have submitted the case information, confirming that no cases were registered against Murad Saeed with the FIA or its zonal offices.
Additionally, sources stated that the Islamabad Police have registered eight different cases against Murad Saeed, including charges related to terrorism.
After consultation, a request for interim bail would be filed in the relevant court.
Earlier, The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Tuesday disposed of the petition of former federal minister Murad Saeed after the federal and provincial governments submitted their replies on his petition seeking the details of the cases against him.
A two-member bench comprising Justice SM Attique Shah and Justice Sahibzada Asadullah heard the petition of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former MNA.
The petition had been filed by the father of Murad Saeed in order to seek the details of the cases registered against his son. –Agencies
