PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi met Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to discuss key issues including law and order situation and provincial rights.
During their meeting at the Governor’s House, held alongside the oath-taking ceremony of a new provincial minister, both leaders emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts for lasting peace in the province and strengthening relations with the federal government to drive economic progress.
They also addressed critical areas such as security resource allocation, tourism promotion, and other public welfare concerns.
Governor Kundi assured his full support, pledging active engagement with federal authorities to advocate for the province’s interests.
Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur announced to hold protest in Swabi on November 9.
He made this announcement on Saturday while talking to media outside the Adiala Jail.
Gandapur said that PTI would reveal its plan if the ban to hold meetings with Imran Khan is imposed again.
“It is time to oust this government that came into power through rigged election,” said the chief minister. –Agencies
