LIMA: Chinese President Xi Jinping said Thursday that he is willing to work with all parties to make new contributions to building an open Asia-Pacific economy, promoting world economic growth, and jointly building an Asia-Pacific community with a shared future.
Xi made the remarks in a written statement upon arriving here for a state visit to Peru and the 31st APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting.
President Xi Jinping has always stressed the importance of deepening the Asia-Pacific cooperation. Here are some of his remarks in this regard.
China will continue to support APEC in its economic and technical cooperation and work together with other member economies to make the “cake” of Asia-Pacific development bigger.
We need to view Asia-Pacific cooperation from a strategic and long-term perspective, uphold APEC’s role as the main channel in regional cooperation, and keep Asia-Pacific cooperation in the right direction.
