ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired important meetings at the Central Police Office (CPO) Islamabad. DIG Security/Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq, DG Safe City Shakir Hussain Dawar, AIG Operations/Establishment Abdul Haq Umrani, SSP Safe City Muhammad Shoaib Khan, and other police officers were present at these meetings.
IGP Islamabad reviewed the ongoing recruitment process in the Islamabad Police. He issued orders to all officers to complete the recruitment process as soon as possible, ensuring transparency and merit.
He directed the officers to recruit educated youth who are dedicated to serving as part of the police force, in order to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property and to provide them with all necessary facilities.
He also reviewed the performance of Safe City Islamabad. The DG Safe City briefed IGP Islamabad about the overall performance of the Safe City Command and Control Centre.
He said that the efficiency of Safe City should be increased, and maximum technical support should be provided to the Investigation Wing.
