DIG rewards Dolphin Squad for effective crime control

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Syed Ali Raza distributed commendation certificates and cash rewards to 12 Dolphin Squad officers for their outstanding performance during duty. The officers were recognized for their exceptional work in capturing criminals, arresting wanted accused, and recovering stolen mobile phones and illegal weapons during routine checks.
The awarded officers were honored at a ceremony held at the DIG Islamabad office. DIG Syed Ali Raza praised the officers for their dedication, courage, and efficiency in executing their responsibilities. He acknowledged the recovery of 13 valuable mobile phones and two illegal firearms, including two SMG guns, an MP5, and a 9mm pistol with ammunition, awhich were seized during the operations. He emphasized that such efforts highlight the professionalism and commitment of the Islamabad Police in ensuring public safety.
“I am proud of the efforts of all officers who have shown exemplary performance in their duties. Your work not only strengthens the national security framework but also upholds the reputation of the Islamabad Police at both national and international levels. Each of you is part of a great police force, and your actions are always highlighted in the media,” said DIG Islamabad.
The officers, in turn, expressed their gratitude for the recognition and vowed to continue serving with the same commitment and bravery. They noted that receiving the certificates and rewards was a testament to their dedication to serving the public and maintaining peace in the capital.
