ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Anti-Robbery and Dacoity Unit (ARDU) police team arrested a wanted member of a criminal gang involved in snatching activities and looting citizens at gunpoint and recovered cash, a weapon used in crime from his possession.
ARDU police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a notorious snatcher gang involved in several activities of robbing citizens outside money changers.
The accused was identified as Muhammad Idrees. The police team also recovered snatched cash and a weapon used in crime from his possession. Cases were registered against the nabbed accused in various police stations and further investigation is underway.
The arrested accused was involved in multiple criminal activities in the jurisdiction of Industrial Area, Sangjani, Rawalpindi and Jehlum.
