ISLAMABAD: On the directions of Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Captain (Retd) Syed Zeeshan Haider the DSP Industrial Area Abdul Hafeez visited Peshawar Morr Sunday bazaar to inspect the traffic duty and met with the traffic officers assigned to the area.
During the visit, DSP Industrial Area provided a briefing to the traffic police officers on duty emphasizing the need to offer maximum assistance to citizens regarding traffic during the holy month of Ramadan.
He highlighted that due to the increased rush of buyers at the market traffic congestion tends to rise and it is essential to control it with effective strategies and efficiency. He further emphasized that the primary goal of the traffic police is to make things easier for the citizens and all officers and personnel should carry out their duties with professionalism and courtesy.
Additionally, DSP traffic police directed immediate action against encroachments, illegal parking and any obstacles hindering traffic flow to prevent any inconvenience to citizens.
On the occasion, DSP Industrial Area traffic also interacted with the public and listened to their concerns. The citizens expressed their satisfaction with the arrangements made by the traffic police and thanked them for their effective traffic management.
Islamabad Traffic Police continues to take every possible step to improve its services and ensure the implementation of a special traffic plan during Ramadan for the convenience of the public.
