ISLAMABAD: The third batch of the advanced course at Capital Police College Islamabad has been passed out. A prestigious ceremony was held at Police Lines Headquarters.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commandant CPC Dr. Muhammad Iqbal as chief guest. While Principal Capital Police College and other police officers were also present on the occasion.
Six officers from Islamabad Police and twenty officers from Gilgit-Baltistan Police participated in the third batch of the advanced course. Deputy Commandant congratulated the officers for successfully completing the course and distributed certificates to all participants.
In the advanced course, Inspector Shah Sarwar secured the first position in Law, Inspector Muhammad Riaz achieved the first position in Rifle Shooting and Inspector Shafqat Ali attained the first position in the parade.
While addressing the ceremony, Deputy Commandant CPC said, you have all successfully completed the departmental course for organizational development. I am pleased to be here as the chief guest at the passing-out ceremony of the Capital Police College Islamabad.
I congratulate the Principal and all the officers who have provided excellent training in the shortest possible time. He further added that, you are fortunate that Allah Almighty has given you the opportunity to serve the public.
Always remember that we are the servants of the people not the other way around. Believe me no work brings as much satisfaction as serving others. Serve the people well and there will be no reason why you should not earn respect.
I urge you to make a vow today to adopt the service of humanity as your motto. While adhering to the law ensure the provision of justice to the public without discrimination.
Protecting the lives and property of citizens is our primary duty and giving them respect and solving their problems should be our priorities, he added.
