ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Shakir Hussain Dawar has directed the officers of the rural zone Quick Response Force (QRF) to take strict action against those involved in drug peddling and snatching incidents and to ensure a prompt response to every call related to any criminal activity.
During a detailed briefing, the DIG Islamabad emphasized enhancing patrolling to curb crime more effectively and urged officers to perform their duties with honesty and integrity. There will be zero tolerance for negligence in duty, he asserted.
He further said that, our foremost responsibility is to protect the lives and property of citizens. He instructed all officers to adopt a professional approach instead of conventional behavior. We all must work together to safeguard this city and its residents, he added. He further directed the officers to demonstrate courteous behavior during checking and to uphold the values of respect and professionalism while dealing with the public.
