ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police apprehended 19 outlaws involved in different criminal activities including drugs peddling and possessing illegal weapons. Police teams also recovered a huge cache of drugs and weapons from their possession.
According to the details, the Islamabad Police Kosha, Karachi Company, Shams Colony, Noon and Barakhu police teams took legal action against accused involved in different criminal activities.
In this regard, police teams also arrested 15 accused and recovered 776 gram heroin and six pistols along with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
During the ongoing crackdown against court absconders and proclaimed offenders the Islamabad Police various teams apprehended four absconders involved in murder, attempted to murder and land grabbing activities. SSP Operation Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan said that the Islamabad Police is actively working to ensure the safety of citizens lives and property in the federal capital emphasizing that no elements will be allowed to disrupt citizens’ peace. Protecting the lives, property and dignity of citizens is the Islamabad Police top priority.
