Fugitive busted in triple murder case

ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi a special campaign is ongoing in Islamabad for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and absconders involved in murder and other serious crimes.
As part of this campaign, the SHO Sihala along with his team arrested an accused Ehtesham-ul-Haq, a proclaimed offender wanted by Jhelum police in a triple murder case.
Police team also recovered one SMG, one 30 bore pistol, huge cache of ammunition, cash and dagger from his possession.
DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq praised SP Soan zone Pari Gul Tareen and the police team for arresting the proclaimed offender involved in the triple murder.
He stated that Islamabad Police is conducting indiscriminate operations to prevent crimes, violence and murders. The criminal will be formally charged based on solid evidence and strict legal action will be taken to ensure he receives due punishment.
He further emphasized that Islamabad Police is utilizing all available resources to protect the lives and property of citizens. He also urged the public to cooperate with the police and immediately report any suspicious individuals or activities to the relevant police station or the emergency helpline “Pucar-15”, so that through the joint efforts of police and citizens society can be cleansed of crime.
