IGP rewards cops for exemplary services

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi honored police officers with commendation certificates and cash awards for fulfilling their professional responsibilities with utmost dedication and outstanding performance. In this regard, a ceremony was held at the Central Police Office Islamabad to distribute rewards in recognition of the services of police officers and personnel.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi attended the ceremony as the chief guest. He met with officers and personnel from the Operations division and CIA who had shown exemplary performance and successfully resolved important cases.
Acknowledging their exceptional service, he awarded them commendation certificates and cash prizes.


On this occasion, he emphasized that all officers must continue to perform their duties with the same spirit to ensure the prevention of crime and the protection of citizens lives and property.
He further stated that it is our foremost duty and the very essence of the oath we took upon donning this uniform to uphold these responsibilities. He directed all officers to carry out their duties with vigilance, dedication and honesty.
He also stated that only those officers who demonstrate good performance will remain in their positions.
All officers should consider their job as a form of worship, because serving humanity with a sincere and willing heart is not just a job but it is an act of devotion.
On this occasion, all officers and personnel expressed that the commendation certificates and awards were an honor for them and they pledged to continue fulfilling their duties with the same dedication in the future.
