ISLAMABAD: Following the special instructions of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Traffic Police has implemented effective measures to maintain traffic flow in the weekly bazaars.
The aim of these measures is to protect citizens from traffic jams and difficulties and to ensure an organized traffic system around the bazaars. In this regard, DSP Industrial Area Abdul Hafeez gave a briefing to the traffic officers deployed on bazaar duty about better performing their duties.
He instructed the officers not to show any negligence in the execution of their responsibilities.
Moreover, traffic police personnel have been deployed at all entry and exit points, parking areas and sensitive locations to avoid any kind of disorder or obstruction.
Chief Traffic Police Officer Islamabad Captain (Retd) Syed Zeeshan Haider appealed to the citizens to park their vehicles only in the designated parking areas so that traffic flow remains uninterrupted. In case of violations, legal action will be taken which includes vehicle fines and other measures.
He further stated that Islamabad Traffic Police is always vigilant for the convenience and discipline of the public. Citizens should demonstrate responsible behavior by obeying traffic laws. The protection of life and property of the citizens and maintaining smooth traffic flow in the federal capital are among the top priorities of Islamabad Police.
