IGP orders enhanced service delivery

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi presided over a high-level meeting on law and order and crime prevention at the Central Police Office Islamabad. The meeting was attended by senior officers of Islamabad Police.
During the meeting, in-depth discussions were held on the overall security situation across the city, anti-narcotics efforts, security measures, traffic management, intelligence sharing and the formulation of a comprehensive strategy to prevent crime.
Issuing directives to the officers, the IGP Islamabad emphasized that all available resources must be utilized to protect the lives and property of citizens, improve traffic systems and enhance police response.

He stressed that police service delivery must be made more effective to ensure the provision of quality services at police stations. He further stated that Islamabad Police top priorities include the prompt delivery of justice, transparent investigations and maintaining professionalism within police stations.
Maintaining law and order in the federal capital and ensuring maximum facilitation to citizens are among the foremost priorities.
IGP Islamabad also instructed all officers to ensure the effective use of modern technologies and emphasized the optimal utilization of resources to further enhance policing standards.
He directed that all necessary steps be taken to resolve public grievances. Additionally, under the leadership of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, effective measures are being taken to improve the policing system in Islamabad.
