ISLAMABAD: According the details, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq visited Faisal Mosque on the occasion of Friday prayers. He was accompanied by Chief Traffic Officer Captain (retd) Syed Zeeshan Haider and SSP Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan.
During the visit, DIG Islamabad met with the police officers deployed on duty and instructed them to carry out their responsibilities with full alertness and commitment. He directed the officers to launch a comprehensive crackdown against suspicious individuals and criminal elements during their duties.
He emphasized that all officers must perform their duties with honesty and integrity to eradicate crime and ensure the safety of the city and its residents. He further instructed that during checking procedures, officers must treat citizens with respect and courtesy
DIG Islamabad stated that it is our duty to make citizens feel safe and protected. The protection of lives and property, along with controlling crime remains our top priority. He also appealed to the public to cooperate with police officers during security checks.
