ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, accompanied by SSP Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan visited various duty points across the city including D-Chowk on Wednesday to inspect the deployment and boost the morale of on-duty officers.
During the visit, the DIG Islamabad met with Islamabad Police personnel, including women officers, performing their duties at different checkpoints and appreciated their commitment and professionalism. He commended their service and encouraged them to stay vigilant in all circumstances.
He said that Islamabad Police was fully prepared to deal with any law and order situation in accordance with the law. Officers were directed to brief their teams regularly, ensure proper supervision of all deployed staff and dispatch personnel with complete gear.
He said that senior officers must personally check duty points to maintain readiness and efficiency. Public dealing must reflect good conduct and the protection of life and property of citizens remains our top priority, he added, emphasizing that any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
