Search operation conducted at Shams Colony

ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has continued its series of search and combing operations to curb crime and apprehend criminal elements in various areas of the capital.
In this regard, Islamabad Police teams conducted a grand search and combing operation under the supervision of SP Industrial Area in different localities within the jurisdiction of Shams Colony police station.
During the operation, 150 individuals, 100 houses and 07 motorcycles were thoroughly inspected. Additionally, 17 suspicious individuals and 03 motorbikes were taken to the police station for verification purposes.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, stated that the purpose of the search operation is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and enhance security across the city.
He further said that search operations are being conducted in various areas of Islamabad and that the Capital Police remains committed to taking indiscriminate action against criminals, land grabbers, and drug dealers.
