ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that negotiations with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) have helped generate billions of rupees.
Addressing a cabinet meeting in the federal capital, Shehbaz Sharif remarked that Pakistan earned respect by winning the war against its enemy, with the Field Marshal leading from the front and the Air Force performing exceptionally.
The PM added Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar successfully completed a visit to the United States, where he met with the US Secretary of State.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed delight at witnessing revolutionary changes at Lahore Railway Station the previous day, stating that the railway ticketing system has been fully digitised.
Meanwhile, he said two consignments of food aid would be dispatched to Palestine to support the oppressed people of Gaza.
Chairing a meeting of the Federal Cabinet in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said directions to send the food assistance to Gaza have been conveyed to the Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority.
He strongly condemned the ongoing violence in Gaza, describing it as unprecedented in history. He denounced the acts of oppression being committed by Israel.
PM reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to advocating for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and supporting the rights of the Palestinian people.
