ISLAMABAD: Director General (DG) Safe City Islamabad Shakir Hussain Dawar chaired an important meeting, which was attended by SSP Safe City Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Director IT, Director Systems and other technical staff.
During the meeting, discussions were held on completing the already assigned targets as soon as possible, ensuring timely response to “Pukar-15” calls, and implementing further reforms in the IT section of Islamabad Police.
On this occasion, the DG Safe City Islamabad issued directives to the officers, stating that the efficiency of Safe City cameras should be enhanced using modern techniques, and the surveillance and monitoring system across the city should be improved. He also emphasized expanding the scope of Safe City Islamabad to make its services more effective.
He further stated that modern techniques and available resources should be utilized in line with the changing times to improve individual performance.
He highlighted the prominent role of IT in both the present and future, stating that its use is central to all aspects and, therefore, it is essential to develop professional expertise in this area to ensure its effective use in the evolving technological era.
