ISLAMABAD: DIG Headquarters/Safe City Islamabad, Muhammad Haroon Joya, paid a visit to Golra police station. During the visit, he inspected the ongoing construction activities at the police station. Additionally, staff briefed him regarding the progress of the construction work.
On the occasion, he instructed the officers to accelerate the pace of construction and ensure all work is completed according to international standards. He stated that Islamabad Police has launched several projects aimed at maintaining law and order, curbing criminal elements, and providing maximum facilities to the public. These projects include the renovation of existing police stations and the construction of new ones.
He further added that the construction of new police stations in the federal capital will not only help in timely control of crime but will also ensure quick resolution of citizens’ issues.
