ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of IGP Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee was held at Safe City Islamabad.
The meeting was chaired by DIG Headquarters Muhammad Haroon Joya, AIG Establishment Syed Inayat Ali Shah along with other senior police officers.
During the meeting, the promotion committee examined the service records of Head Constables. The committee recommended the promotion of those Head Constables with exemplary service records. Upon final approval, promotion notifications will be issued, promoting them to the rank of ASI.
DIG Headquarters stated that departmental promotion is a fundamental right of every police officer. All officers and personnel who have passed the required departmental courses will be promoted to available vacant posts according to their seniority. This process will continue until all vacant posts are filled.
