2 busted, valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has launched a large-scale crackdown in the federal capital to arrest those involved in robbery and street crime and to eliminate criminal activities.
In this regard, the Karachi Company Police team, using modern technical tools and human intelligence, successfully arrested two members of a notorious gang involved in multiple activities of robbery and snatching.
Police team also recovered mobile phones, cash, motorcycles used in criminal activities, and weapons with ammunition from their possession. The accused were identified as Ali Hassan and Nouman Ijaz.
During preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to committing several robberies in the twin cities. Cases have already been registered against them and further investigation is ongoing.
