DG Safe City pins ranks on promoted cops

ISLAMABAD: A prestigious ceremony was organized to honour the departmental promotion of police officers from the rank of Head Constable to Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI).
DG Safe City/ DIG Headquarters Muhammad Haroon Joya and Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Capt. (retd) Hamzah Humayun, accompanied by other senior officers, formally pinned the new ranks to the promoted officers.
Speaking on the occasion, DG Safe City Muhammad Haroon Joya congratulated all the promoted officers and expressed his heartfelt wishes for their future. He stated that with promotion comes greater responsibility. He highlighted that the IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has issued clear directives to continue the promotion process across all vacant positions.
He emphasized that these promotions are a result of the officers’ dedication and hard work, and it is by the grace of Allah Almighty that they have achieved this milestone. He urged the officers to fulfill their new responsibilities with even greater commitment and professionalism, becoming a source of pride for the department.
He advised them to prioritize police welfare and ensure the provision of justice to citizens, making it their foremost mission to bring ease and relief to the public. He further stated, i expect that you will continue to perform your duties with politeness, sincerity, dedication, and a spirit of public service, as you have always done.
On this occasion, the promoted officers expressed gratitude to the senior officers for their kind wishes and encouragement. They pledged to fulfill their responsibilities with utmost professionalism and contribute positively to the department’s reputation.
