ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Traffic Police has taken another significant step to enhance licensing services for citizens by establishing 15 new desks at the Faizabad traffic office.
Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Capt. (retd) Hamzah Humayun stated that the objective of this initiative is to make the licensing process faster, easier, and more efficient.
Citizens will now be able to obtain licensing services in less time, which will not only save time but also significantly reduce crowding and waiting times at the office. He further mentioned that traffic police service vans are also active in various parts of the city, bringing licensing services directly to the public’s doorstep.
He added that the licensing process is being continuously improved with the help of modern technology and keeping citizen convenience in mind.
These improvements include the online appointment system, digital licensing, and now the addition of extra desks all of which reflect the public-friendly policies of the traffic police.
Maintaining a well-coordinated traffic system in the federal capital and providing citizens with better travel facilities remain among the top priorities of the Islamabad Traffic Police, CTO added.
