ISLAMABAD: Director General Safe City Islamabad Muhammad Haroon Joya, and SSP Safe City Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, hosted the delegation of Jordanian police officers at Safe City Islamabad.
The delegation was shown the central control system, Command and Control Center, modern surveillance cameras, and the Police Operations Center Hall. They were also fully briefed on how the system works and its overall effectiveness.The delegation was informed that Safe City Islamabad is playing a crucial role across various sectors through the advanced technological initiatives. Key components include the Police Operations Center, Emergency Control Center, Dispatch Control Center, and the “Pukar-15” emergency helpline.
They were also briefed on the performance and usefulness of Safe City surveillance cameras in Islamabad. It was highlighted that these high-tech cameras are playing an important role in maintaining the city’s security, preventing crimes, and protecting the lives and property of citizens.
Facial recognition cameras have been installed at the city’s entry and exit points, which are significantly aiding in identifying suspicious individuals.
The delegation praised the modern technological infrastructure of Islamabad Police and acknowledged its effectiveness. They thanked the DG Safe City and his team for the successful and informative visit.
