IGP chairs meeting on investigation, Safe City operations

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an important meeting at the Central Police office.
The meeting was attended by SSP Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt and officers from the Safe City Islamabad.
On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad issued instructions to complete the investigation of significant cases through the effective use of modern technology and evidence analysis.
He appreciated the performance of investigation officers and the Safe City team and issued special directives for the better use of advanced technology to enhance public safety.
IGP Islamabad stated that the investigation process is being equipped with modern techniques in line with the demands of the changing times.
All officers must conclude pending investigations on merit so that the circle can be tightened around criminal elements and crimes can be eradicated from society.
He further added that Islamabad Police is striving to make the federal capital a safer and more peaceful city through the use of modern technology, strategic planning, and advanced administrative measures.
Ensuring the welfare of police officers and the protection of citizens’ lives and property remain top priorities of Islamabad Police, he added.
