ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police continues to conduct search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to curb crime and target criminal elements.
As part of this ongoing effort, a search and combing operation was carried out in different areas of Golra police station, during which 235 individuals, 200 houses, 25 Shops, 15 vehicles and 70 motorcycles were thoroughly checked, while 47 accused were shifted to police station for legal proceedings.

DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, stated that the purpose of these search operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and to enhance security across the city. Search operations are being conducted in various parts of the district.
He further said that, the Islamabad Police continues its indiscriminate actions against criminals, land grabbers, and drug dealers. Citizens are requested to cooperate with the police and report any suspicious activity to the concerned police station or via the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” immediately.
