ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police continues to conduct search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to curb crime and target criminal elements.
As part of this ongoing effort, a search and combing operation was carried out in different areas of Karachi Company police station, during which 12 individuals, 20 guest houses, 07 Shops, 04 vehicles and 12 motorcycles were thoroughly checked, while two accused were shifted to police station for legal proceedings.
SSP Operations Islamabad, stated that the purpose of these search operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and to enhance security across the city. Search operations are being conducted in various parts of the district. He further said that, the Islamabad Police continues its indiscriminate actions against criminals, land grabbers, and drug dealers. Citizens are requested to cooperate with the police and report any suspicious activity to the concerned police station or via the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” immediately.
