ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of the IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police have taken effective measures to ensure foolproof security in the federal capital.
In this regard, SSP Operations Capt. (R) Qazi Ali Raza visited various checking points in the city, including the Red Zone. On this occasion, he met with officers and personnel on duty and reviewed the security arrangements in detail.
During the visits, SSP Operations instructed the officers to remain alert at all times, ensure effective checking of suspicious persons and vehicles, and immediately report any suspicious activity to the concerned authorities.
He also directed the officers to deal with citizens politely and respectfully, so that the bond of trust between the police and the public can be further strengthened.
He emphasized that protecting the lives and property of citizens is the top priority of the Islamabad Police, and all security measures are being carried out with this objective in mind.
He also urged citizens to fully cooperate with the police and to immediately report any suspicious person or activity to the nearest police station or the emergency helpline Pucar-15.
